Scaglia Indeva is the market leader in providing innovative solutions to complex material handling problems in production lines across the world. Our industrial manipulators, or intelligent devices for handling (INDEVA®), are proven to increase productivity whilst improving ergonomics and safety in material handling operations, such as the moving of materials for the construction products industry.
Building materials are often large, heavy or bulky and require careful lifting, both safely and ergonomically. We provide bespoke solutions for material handling in the construction products industry, ensuring that heavy and bulky products can be lifted, transported and placed with ease, precision and most importantly – safely.
As the demand for domestic properties increases, so does the demand for new developments and therefore building materials such as concrete blocks, bricks, and tiles. This means manufacturers of these products are having to increase production as this demand continues.
With unique features, our industrial manipulators are fitted with auto-balancing and auto-weight sensing features, which automatically and continually detects the weight of the load and balances it immediately, without the need to pre-set load weights or keep buttons depressed.
The versatile INDEVA® can be equipped with countless types of gripping and lifting tools which enables us to provide a bespoke material handling solution that makes lifting and transporting of any type of material easy and effortless, regardless of how heavy or bulky it is.
Material handling in the construction products industry is a very repetitive job which can lead to Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMSDs) to the back, neck, shoulders, arms, and wrists. The INDEVA® has been designed to reduce – and even eliminate – WRMSDs. The fingertip sensitive handle makes it possible to lift, move and lower even heavy and offset loads with very little effort, but with complete precision.
State-of-the-art safety features prevent movement of a load unless an operator is present and in control, and should there be a loss of power, the motor is held with a mechanical lock which ensures that the load cannot be released until power is restored or the full weight of the load is supported.
